Abandoned Transaction

Abandoned Transaction Detection monitors checkout transactions to identify potentially fraudulent incidents.

The following scenarios will trigger an alert.:

  • A customer started scanning articles but left the checkout area towards the exit before the Self-Chekout(SCO) system confirmed payment 1.
  • A customer starts scanning but removes all articles from the SCO screen and leaves the self-checkout area towards the exit.

The following scenarios will not trigger an alert:

  • If a customer leaves the checkout without completing payment but leaves the products in the designated SCO area.
  • If the customer does not finish the transaction and instead returns to the store rather than exiting.

Abandoned Transaction Alerts

Alert information includes:

  • Video footage of the last 10 seconds of transaction
  • Video footage of the entire transaction
  • Video footage of the POS

Configuration

Configure Abandoned Transaction Detection through the settings:

Enabling Abandoned Transaction Detection

To enable: 1. Click the "Enable" button 2. The app activates for your store

Disabling the App

To disable Abandoned Transaction Detection:

  1. Click "Disable"
  2. Confirm the action
